Nowadays the
things are happening too fast around us and a lot of individuals are being cheated
by words and voices extremely elaborated, and also some sophisticaded schemes made by people who have hidden interests and obscure intentions; i get worried seeing things like that happening almost every day.
As a result, i've decided write this text down here on this blog to share with you the way i believe that we can face and overcome the social caos that surround us while keeping our simplicity.
It was written:
"But i fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2 Corinthians 11.3). "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudments of the world, and not after Christ." (Colossians 2.8). "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lust shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to fables." (2 Timothy 4.3-4). "Beloved, believe note every spirit, but try the spirit whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4.1)
Now; the question is: What do you have to do to not being away from Christ's simplicity?
Psalm 119.130 has the answer; it was written: “The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” which means that every time we heard someone preaching or talking on the word of God through the holy bible, and we accept and reflect on the message into our heart and mind, we realize all we really need to maintain our life on the very best path, avoiding everything that the society has to distract us from our real life purpose.
The society has plenty voices, traps, templates, stuff, dreams, goals, battles and a large variety of things to distract our attention draining and consuming our time, energy, joy, happpiness, fulfillment and faith. So the most important thing we have to learn is how to keep ourselves and everything in our life as simple as teached by Christ. We can do so listening to the voice of Jesus within us through the holy bible; His voice will guide our heart and steps to follow on the road of simplicity every day.
Jesus said: "My sheep hear my voice, and i know them, and they follow me." John 10.27 (King James version)
Every day, in whatever situation, remember and ask yourself: Am i following the voice of my master and being simple like Christ? Always remember that Jesus want you to be simple, so follow His simplicity and your life is going to be better than never.
